While Pluto Nash may be the biggest box office bomb in history ( I think it cost $100 million to make and only made 4 million) it is not the lowest grossing movie of all time. That I do not know the answer to.

:D dont know why i didnt think of that before but yea i've got time to kill so i'll check IMDB.com and if i find the answer i'll post it here for any one else that cares.

I'm sure there are movies that have made absolutely nothing, but they would be extremely small indie flicks, I suppose. Major motion picture? Good question . . . . . .

Thats a tough question to answer. You would have to set up some guidelines. For example, lowest grossing movie that was ever released to 100 or more screens.... Or some other sort of criteria.

Because there are hundreds of movies that have never seen the light of day, and thousands more independent films that grossed little or nothing at all.
