While I honestly haven't seen all of Paul Verhoeven's (Dutch) films, I must say that this is the best movie of his that I've seen. Nowhere near as violent or sexually charged as you might expect from him, and good performances by Rutger Hauer, Jeroen Krabbé and Edward Fox plus some very well crafted scenes make this an excellent war film that unfortunatly doesn't have the kind of recognition as it should have.
Anybody seen this?
