Your "To Rent" list? How stocked is your rental shop?

In a effort to support this forum, I'm starting a simple thread for no real reason other than keeping my list in one place. So, here goes, in no particular order:

Also, how are you going about seeing yours? My rental shop allows four movies out at a time, so my plan has been at least one of them will be foreign. (My batch right now includes Thesis, which I'll probably we watching tomorrow night.)

And, how stocked is your video store? Does yours have only one shelf, or is it stacked like mine, with practically half the (non-porn) area dedicated to international cinema, arranged by country and even by director?

The selection at my local video store is piss poor. The only place I can actually find foreign movies is in the "Oscar Winners" section. Even then it's a mess. Some punk decided to place the Harry Potter movies there for some reason. :rolleyes:

To give you an idea of how poor the selection is, these are the titles that are absent: 8½, The 400 Blows, Delicatessin, Grave of the Fireflies, Seven Samurai, Jules et Jim, Yojimbo, Nosferatu, etc.

My local videostore has quite a few foreign films I still want to see like THE SEVENTH SEAL, 8 1/2, SWEPT AWAY (1974), TROIS COLOURS TRILOGY, Y TU MAMA TAMBIEN, so I'll have something to rent form them.

Not sure when i'll rent them and in what order though.

I really was suprised that my local Blockbuster actually had Irreversible! :eek:

They also had Ring (only because of the remake), Pauline and Paulette, The Eye, The Crimson Rivers and a few others.

My local videostore have ones like 8 1/2, SEVEN SAMURAI, YOJIMBO, SWEPT AWAY, LA DOLCE VITA, BELLE EPOQUE, TROIS COLOURS TRILOGY, CINEMA PARADISO, etc. But they are missing quite a few too, I try to rent foreign films from my video store and if they don't have what I want, then I get them from Netflix.

My local Blockbuster doesn't have many past forgein features, but they are stocking up with the newly released ones.

At home, I've got a great little foreign/cult/old horror video store that is almost all, well, foreign, cult and old horror flicks to rent. Regretably, I'm on vacation in the middle of NO where as far as cinema goes (unless you're looking for Ernest Saves Christmas). So, I'm relying on Netflix, and, like FeverDog, have resolved to have one foreign movie in every group of 3 I am allowed. The following are in my netflix queue.

I rent from Netflix. They seemto have a great selection of foreign films. Since this forum started, I have added a lot of foreign films to my rental queue. Right now I have these four at home:
