No not about looks here...talent...

I think this man has great talent, he has an amazing visual mind. Great style of directing, writing. Although after Titanic he had become too high of himself, his ego is the problem here. But he sure knows how to make an action movie! Props go out to him for creating The Terminator franchise

I wonder if the man still got it. Let's hope ALIEN 5 is his next film.

YAY

This man has Talent written all over him. I love his backstory. He's your average schmoe, who loved movies, so he started out behind the scenes doing minitures, and special effects, then producers found he had a talent for direction. Then he had a couple tries at it, and didn't do so well, but he still kept at it.

He's made some amazing movies!

TERMINATOR
THE ABYSS
ALIENS
TERMINATOR 2
TITANIC
TRUE LIES
I even liked his producing in SOLARIS
I'm sure there's a couple more movies he's made that i loved, but his style for direction, not to mention writing is great, and definitely stands out. He creates such great characters, and still delivers the goods with action. Can't wait for his upcoming movies he has in pre-production right now.

He's on the top list of great Directors, but as i've said before, he's slowly going down the list due to him being gone for so long.

Yay. The man hasn't made a bad film yet.

Infact the lowest rating I've given one of his movies is * * * 1/2 and that was The Terminator.

He's one of the most notorious filmmaking procrastinators, but when he makes a movie, I'll go see it. He has assloads of talent, so YAY

I hate Titanic with every cell of my being and still love this guy... Sheer genius.

And Titanic really isn't a bad movie, its somewhat respectable. I still hate it though.

I hope he does the next Alien movie woth Ahnold and(in best Newt voice) Wipley.

Spectacular director and seems like a genuinley nice guy to boot.

A small yay. Man's packed with talent, that's for sure (the movie of his I like the least is TITANIC, and that was pretty good even if widely overrated), but he comes off to me as being excessively arrogant. "King of the world"? I think not.

I read in an interview recently that he had his hand a little bit in the creation of T3, but it finally went too far into a direction that he didn't feel comfortable with and decided to no longer assist in the making of it. He told the story he wanted to tell in the first two movies, and just wanted to stop at Terminator 2 and move on.

He told Arnold that 'if he wants the money, and wants to do T3, fine. You have my blessing' and Arnold went ahead without Cameron directing.
Arnold said he'd never do another Terminator without Cameron directing, but I read recently that Arnold was gonna go ahead anyway because it's 'for the fans', but was happy to know that Cameron didn't mind. Whatever, dude. Your last few movies FLOPPED at the box office and you want the money, we all know it! Whatever. :P

As for James Cameron as a director, he's one of my all-time favorites. 3 of my top ten favorite action movies are by James Cameron. Terminator, Terminator 2 and Aliens.
I thought Titanic was a good movie but nowhere NEAR good enough to win so many Academy Awards or make more money than ANY of his other flicks. Except maybe Piranha 2. I actually got bored during the sinking Titanic part, and I didn't find the romance particularly interesting. Why did I like it? I guess it was just 'ok', unlike his other masterpieces.

Huge Yay, he is a great writter and director, he knows how to make you feel happy or sad for the charcters and still have an awsome action sequence, great director and writter.
