leonard cohen is my all time favourite singer/songwriter/poet ever. His lyrics are painfully sad and beautiful, and his voice changes with age, but never is bad. Any one else like/hate him?

I love Leonard Cohen (compliments of our own bowieee). He's somber and melancholy, suiting 50% of my moods. Dress Rehearsal Rag and Avalanche are absolutely heartbreaking and deadening. Brilliant stuff.

I love the man as a musical artist as well as a writer. Beautiful Losers was one of my all time greatest reading experiences. The man is unlike any other.

If you don't want Songs, I'd recommend The Future and/or I'm Your Man.

I've been listening to the song Everybody Knows endlessly nowadays. I'm a fan of Leonard Cohen. The Future and Suzanne are another couple of great songs!!

Leonard Cohen has an incredible voice that will live on for years to come. He just oozes talent from the depths of his voicebox, and from the poetry of his mind.
My favorite Cohen songs are "First We Take Manhattan", "Everybody Knows", and "Democracy Is Coming to the U.S.A".
