This is the artwork for Newlines DVD releases of the Critters series. Not bad. Of course I dont know how to post images right on the site,so I'll just put a link up for it.

is it just me, or do all these covers look like somoene spent a small amount of time on photoshop to make them. I know there not any big time special edition dvds, but damn, the only one I even like is the one for critters 2, cause it looks about as original as the video/movie poster did. Why couldn't they just do one critter, in a field for the first movies cover, thats what I loved about the original artwork for that movie.

Put it this way: the first two movies were fun in that they tried to rip-off Gremlins, but didn't quite get it done. I applaud them for that. The next two were just crap on a cracker served with a steaming pile of crap. What's the deal with New Line trying to market Critters 3 based on the sole fact that Leo DiCraprio starred in it? You know the film has to suck when they have to sink that low to get people to buy it. As for the 4th movie: Ho-hum is right. A nice butt-shot by one of the female members of the cast was the only good thing about this movie.

First of all, I loved the original poster art for "Critters" back in the 80`s. I wish they`d just use that again.

The Part 1 DVD artwork is obviously just one 'Critter' copied over and over - pret-tay lame if you ask me.

And Part 3......WHAT THE HELL? Why are they FLYING through the air? Somebody must`ve been smoking crack - that`s the cheesiest-looking thing I`ve ever seen.

The first one isn't bad but I prefer the VHS to it. I like the big critter holding up the sign saying "We Bite". Too cute

The second critters - I prefer the DVD cover. I think it looks pretty good myself

The 3rd sums up how the movie plays out - something you don't want to see. HARHARHAR-*cough*

The fourth one wasnt overly bad - I like the tagline ripping off the alien movie and rearranging it a bit.

These all suck. Hard. Thanks for the laugh. I'll pick up 1 and 4(Brad Dourif RULES), but the rest I am indifferent to.

The Critters series is quite fun (with the exception of part 3 that just totally sucks donkey balls). Part 4 is the most fun but the first two are the best. The cover art is fine but nothing spectacular, I just hope the transfers on 1, 2, and 4 are of high quality.

You pull up the website the picture is on.

Then you put your mouse on the picture, right click, hit Properties.

Copy the URL in the properties box that comes up.

When at the jo blo boards, hit the IMG button above.

Delete the http:// that is already there and just copy the URL you got from properties box.

The picture should come up. It sounds like more work than it really is but it's very easy.

Now if you just have the picture saved on the computer I dont know how to display it that way.

For one thing the URL should contain http:// in there.

Let me try it with that and see if it works, or if its something about the URL you are using...tried and previewed it, it just did the above as an actual link and not a picture but erased the <img> coding and such.

Is the image you are trying to show a picture from a webpage? How did you get that certain html code?

As the saying goes, "you can't polish a turd", even if you're a wizard with Photoshop!!.

On the face of it whoever produced the artwork has done nothing more than stay faithful to the film's content :D

I really DISLIKE that art work on all of those dvds, especially CRITTERS 3!! YES, what is the deal with LEONARDO DICAPRIO?!! That's funny as fuck! I bet he's SO EMBARRASSED!

I much prefer the art work on the originals. CRITTERS and CRITTERS 2 (where a critter is holding a big 2 in his hands!) Why can't they just keep the original art work for the dvd releases?! It's less work for the distributers that way too!

I dont know what I was thinking when I said these covers were "not bad" because they flatout sucked. Then again I was young back in 03 :D
Great movies though, I just got the first one off ebay (why couldn't they use the original cover artwork??? Arghhh!!!!)
