Gojira, or Godzilla, King of the Monsters. The message is not to be fucking around with nuclear weapons because you never know the outcome...

Friday the 13th series....really.

Just think about it, Jason is basically the good guy, going after all the sinners (pot smokers, beer drinker, people with too much makeup, overly 80s people, people who have sex) strikes a message in me.

The Friday the Thirteenth films have a very good message.Don't get naked and start fucking each other's brains out when theres an undead serial killer on the rampage. It never ends well.

How does Fright Night convery a message? Not arguing but if there's one in there I didn't get it and would like to :)

The alien series with the dangers of advancing technology turning on you, rendering humans useless in the end and becoming the enemy instead of the friend, and the whole motherhood/greed thing. The films (well, not as much 3 and 4 but especially 1 and 2) Are loaded with subliminal messages. I read an article on the first two and the man pointed out plenty of stuff I hadnt even notced before - and made me appreciate even more how well thought out and done these gems were.

I find alot of movies conveying messages. even F13th's and NOES'! But I'll have to say my most memorable is Donnie Darko in a sense that says: In some way or another, you'll have to face yourself some day! Am I right or wrong? Think about it.

Donnie Darko is one of the best horror movies with a message. Yep, that's right. But I still don't GET the movie.

This is gonna sound weird but maybe the first two Demons movies has a message in it. I mean think about it... the demons didn't start to attack untill the violence on the movie screen started. And also a woman says: It's the movie, the movie's causing it. Maybe the demons films are trying to say that violence on screen results to violence in real life and that the demons represent the violence all around us. Just a thought though.

It's either about having faith in God in times of trouble or always believe the desperate teen no matter how crazy his story sounds.

I got a good one....What about Signs. It had a strong message, in my opinion, about faith.

Romero’s Dead movies supply loads of social commentary. Night showed how brutal mankind is, dealing with prejudges of color and when it comes down to it the human race when cornered into extraordinary situations still can turn on each other while the monster Zombies ban together. Dawn takes a serious yet sometimes humorous approach at consumerism in America.

Cronenberg’s The Fly takes a look at genetically altered science and also the dangers of Abortion. The Brood takes a no holds barred stab at parenthood and family issues. The Dead Zone goes into detail of political corruption.

And how about in the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, you don't go around messing with old houses. Drayton Sawyer warned them of that at the gass station. :)

Don't forget drugs. There's a part where Seth refers to the telepod's effect as a wonderful drug. When his friend (Ronnie) thinks it's doing him harm he lashes out at her. Then his physical apperance gets worse and worse, like the problems of addiction (loss of friends, family, money, home, ect;).

There's also a few I spotted in Cannibal! The Musical: During The Trapper Song Frenchy and his gang seem very proud of the fact that they kill smaller, weaker animals using tools. Alot of hunters I know are like that. Also during the Hang The Bastard, Hang em' High! song people seem to have an unhealthy obsession with puplic execution.

I read that Romero also considered the main theme of this movie to be on isolation from society or something along those lines. I love discovering and figuring out these things. You guys have been coming up with some beauts.

I agree it speaks about faith a lot, but I dont agree with some that say all this movie was concerned faith and that the aliens came down just for the reason to test his faith. I just see faith as a sub-plot so to speak.
