Haunted Mansion trailer

Yo schomes, did anyone catch the Haunted Mansion trailer? I thought it looked allright, looked better than I thought it would actually. Its got that "Adams Family" vibe going with it, not horror in the slightest I know but it has that horror feeling for it.

Now, I'm not sure about Eddie Murphy being casted in this one. Seems he just can't break out of the "Family Man" image anymore, ah well I guess its all he can do these days. But still he looks to be allright here for what hes been given except for the ending of the trailer when he went agasint the family man image: "Don't let those dark spirits come when I'm in here, let them come when I'm gone" or something along those lines anyways.

Apart from that it seems allright and a little better than I was expecting.

Methinks this one will be more akin to "Country Bears" than "Pirates Of the Carribean".

And Eddie Murphey was great in "Pluto Nash" the movie that redefined sci-fi.

Uh-oh! My one online friend is not going to be happy, not one bit! He was writing his own HAUNTED MANSION script but instead of it being family oriented, it was balls-out horror film. I would have rather seen his vision. That's luck for you.
