What are your thoughts on this actor? He gets a YAY from me. I think he is a great comedic and dramatic actor, he showed it very well in Close Encounters of the Third Kind, which I also thought was his best performance.

There are those kind of actors with pure acting talent, Richard Dreyfuss is one of them. Continually superb actor who can do no wrong, a huge YAY.

I think the man's great, and it's sad to see him in less projects as the years go on. Although thank's to a SNL skit, I can't help but think of "I'm Richard Dreyfuss! I was in Jaws!" every time I hear his name. Damn funny skit, with a great Christopher Walken impression by Spacey.

Very talented actor. A very big YAY for him. Verstile, enigmatic, magentic, charismatic... a lot of "matics".

Yay. Whether he's a music teacher, a marine biologist, a high school graduate from the 50s, a sleazy Republican senator, a wannabe alien-abductee, whatever, he always churns out a memorable, often very good or great, performance.

YAY but it's been a loooong time since he did anything noteworthy. He needs to give himself a shake.

A Big YAY! I'm glad that he has at least one oscar in the bag. just a little sad that his output has been on the low side these past few years.
