A long, long time ago (ok, 5 years), in a galxay far away (ok, the grocery store I now work at) I used to buy Fangoria magazine every month. It was my monthly horror fix. Then all of a sudden they quit carrying it. Then, even worse, no one in town carried it. I was suddenly without my indepth info on horror movies, and utterly upset about it.

5 years have passed, the wound has healed, but tonight, I've sprung forth with new life! I was putting 'go-backs' (lost items back in their place) away, when I look down in the cart and see a copy of Fangoria laying there. I say to myself outloud "no fucking way". I ran up to the non-foods person and said "you have to scan this right now to see if its on file and we have it, or if someone lost it and it ended up in here". So she scanned it and sure enough, our store has resumed carrying Fangoria!!

Needless to say, I clung to the copy all night (turns out it was the only one we had left in the store), and when I got off work, I purchased it.

Yes, the horror gods were shining down on me tonight!

This tale brought a tear to my eyes; "A boy and his Mag"....what a great concept; who's writing the screenplay to this one?

I'll do! It will be about a kid who opens a fangoria mag but without he knowing it, he also opens the gates of hell!! Bringing the demons of his shadowy past which linger in the haunted mansion on top of the haunted cliff where many say a werewolf that escaped from the asylum hides, an asylum that was built over the vampiric and cannibalistic zombie tribe of the Cleithas. Whew! http://www.angelfire.com/comics/atpdownloads1/images/Ncsmiles/nc_huge_grin.gif

Wait, isn't the asylum also built over an ancient indian burial ground and a nuclear waste site? Those type of places are everywhere, im telling ya!

Arrow, it warms my heart to hear my story made you tear up. I was seriously the most excited person at work last night, over a damn magazine nonetheless. What can I say, I love Fango and after 5 years was finally able to read/purchase it again. Wouldnt anyone else be happy as well?!
