Ive noticed there are 10, 000 threads (where 5,000 are mine) on horror scripts by schmoes and I wanted to start one last thread on the scripts to ask for help/advise and expose your ideas.

Projects I'm currently working in:

Untitled (w.t. Crystal Glade). A three story script.
Schoolyard. A slasher/psychological thriller mix set in a school.

And Ive plans for:

Schoolyard 2. A sequel.

What about you?

NIGHT ZOMBIE
NIGHT ZOMBIE 2

I plan on making the first a bit boring so i can blow them away with the sequel. like ALIENS or T2

Working on SLEDGE,
a backwoods slasher about a mean redneck armed with a sledge. Script is in its second rewrite and should start filming some time next year.

1.Halloween 9 (Sequel) - This script ties in all the loose ends and I have listened to alot of fans and weaved in all those suggestions. The end contains the same kind of clusre that H20 had but it also leaves you wondering if he's still out there.

2.Theme Park (Original) - I have always loved carnival/ theme park killers so I reinvented that and hopefully made one scary ass movie made for the fans by the fans.

3.Bad Luck (Original) - Its just something I came up with a few months ago about all the crazy things that people take seriously with bad luck.

(Scripts 1 & 2 are under copyright laws)

Thrill Kill (working title) - A cool little slasher Idea I have here, trying to make my main villian of the piece somewhat sympathetic (No, no sad poetic eyes) but his motive insane. Thinking of changing the name but I'm not sure what to call it yet but right now finishing this bad boy is all I'm bothered about at the mo.

The Ensnared

A group of young kids decide to spend all night in their school during the night - only to find theyve walked into the school from silent hill. Well not really but its just fucked up. Their sanity constantly decreases and they cant figure out whats real and what isnt as a force messes with their minds giving hem hallucinations and theres a "is it really happenign or are they just insane/imaging it feeling running through.

bout three quarters of the way through.

Well, doesn`t your Thrill Kill have anything to do with the cool horror fighter game, I`m hoping will be a movie one day. If it doesn`t have anything to do with it, I believe changing the title is a good idea.

Yes, so violent it was even released. In fact, the game was done, but the developer ( I think) went bankrupt, and the game fell into the dark abyss. It had promise, too.

I completed Red Rabbit (yes, I know I said it was 45% complete, I rushed to get it done), and I wasn't happy with the finished product. So I'm starting ALL OVER again from the point where Eric (the main character) wakes up from the drug overdose, and going onward. I also changed some deaths (like Leo, who, instead of getting his face ripped off, has a 'normal' death by getting his head smashed in). I'm typing it right now, and I'm about 38% complete now.

Though this Thrill Kill thing starts to get off subject, I just have to say. I got a knock off copy of the game somehow. (Though it was never released in Europe, or whatever....don`t know the deal to every detail)....It was a way cool game. The synopsis, I believe was something like this - In hell, a demon named Marrucca (or sth like that) got bored and he(/she....?) made a tournament where perverted people sent to hell fight to get to know their history.... Fights take place in rooms like prison cells, insane asylum with bloody handprints on the walls and places like that. The game is really bloody and the characters are very freaky: a cannibal, who fights while holding a human leg in his hand and biting chunks out of it at times; A perversed doctor who used to do all sorts of experiments on earth and died because he surgically placed a bear trap for his mouth (that`s a cool guy....you can bite people in different ways and you also have a scalpel); siamese twins; a winged demon (marrucca); a guy in flames; a guy in hellraiser-like leather outfit beating people with a chain; a guy in straight-jacket; etc.
Every character also has about 4 finishing moves (like Mortal Kombat) ....For example, the leather outfit dude has one where chains come from walls and rip the enemy to pieces; the cannibal (or the doctor, donīt remember) has one, where he rips opponents head off and drinks blood from it...
There is also a multiple character playing option, where are some cool extras. For example, one guy goes behind the enemy, grabs him and starts holding him, the other beats the helpless enemy to stomack at the same time.

The game was way brutal and really adult themed, that`s basicly why it got cancelled. It also had many sex refferences, like moves, where you pound people in the nuts, or sit on a guys face. Actually, I remember that the female character, who does that also masturbates with an electric stick at times.

Man, I loved that game.

Zombie Serenade:

A terrifying zombie movie that just happens to have lavish musical numbers... The catch? All the zombie songs are full of clever sexual innuendo...

In highschool me and my friends always said we would make a movie about a killer garbage can that was made from scrap metal that turns out to be from a gunned down nazi warplane. I also had an Idea for a movie about a Kid who finds out he was found on his parents doorstep when he was a baby and his family are actually raising him to "ripen" him up so they can eventually eat him. Then he finds out that he used to have a brother but the family has these mind powers so when they ate his brother they can use thier minds to wipe everyones memory of him out. So I figured I could have the kid noticing that hes not in pictures that he used to be in and stuff like that. Nothing ever came of it though. I suck at writing scripts hehe.

Hey guys, I have a number of screenplay ideas that I hope to get started pretty soon, but I just can't bloody decide which one to go ahead and do first! Which do you lot think I should do first, or you would like to SEE first? And what do you think of the ideas in general? Thanks a bunch.

1. Comedy/Horror. Two young twenty-something guys live and work together on an animated series called "Inspector Benevolent". When one of the guys is dumped by his girlfriend and falls into an alcoholic depression, they get a call from an executive wishing to meet them in the next city to discuss pruchasing the series. So the two set off on a short road trip to the meeting, one becoming more and more distressed at his friend's growing alcoholism. Along the way, they stop at a roadside motel for the night - a motel run by a strange bespectacled old man. In the middle of the night, the depressed guy is sitting watching cable while his friend sleeps, when the picture disappears. He goes out to complain to the manager and is beheaded by the old man. A short while later, the second guy is woken up by the room door knocking. Looking through the peephole he sees his friend's shocked face repeatedly hitting the door. He opens the door and his friend enters, shouting hysterically - and nothing but a floating severed head. The two flee the motel in their car with the axe-wielding owner running after them. Hilarity ensues as the two must work together to overcome the depressed guy's "affliction" as they check into a large hotel and attend the restaurant meeting with the executive to make their dreams come true.

2. In the near future reality television displays nothing but sex and violence in the battle for ratings. A new show is introduced which pits 10 contestants against an audience-designation serial murderer and his again audience chosen weapon inside a huge abandoned asylum complex while viewers look on through placed cameras. Every three hours certain wings of the building open and others lock off - giving the opportunity for contestants to be seperated or re-united in their battle for survival. Food and supplies are left in designated "drop rooms" and only one contestant can win the $1million prize money for being the last one alive - but only after they have faced off with the killer, and won.

3. A group of six people sign up for a military training program offering a large cash payday, where they are dropped on the shoreline of an island and told to make it to the military installation in the centre, where they will get their money and be airlifted out. The only other thing is that while making their way across the island they will be hunted by the latest in warfare - reanimated dead "supersoldiers" - strong and fast, and one bite or scratch turns the victim into a traditional shambling zombie. When an unsuspecting band of partymakers land on an unpatroled section of the island, the body count grows with only a small band making it to the installation. However, things don't go quite as planned when the supersoldiers refuse to cease and desist...and an all-out battle ensues at the installation with the army and applicants vs supersoldiers and and ever growing army of zombies.

4. Period horror in the style of Lovecraft. A scientist goes to visit an old friend upon receiving a letter from him and finds the man on the brink of physical and mental collapse, having been working constantly on his new invention - a machine which allows communication with the dead from within your own mind. When a demonstration goes awry, the protagonist is left to look after his friend, who begins to behave very differently to his usual self, and becoming increasingly violent. Has he been possessed by an evil entity while hooked up to the machine, or has he simply finally lost his grip on sanity?

5. A young family moves into their new home, only to face strange goings-on, such as objects relocating themselves, strange sounds and footsteps, and their 11-year-old son speaking of "The Lady" and her children. After a while it becomes apparent that these are not simply michevious poltergeists, but "The Lady" is a demonic entity hoarding the souls of children...and she wants their son.

There are a few more ideas I have too...but these are the ones that I'm going to churn out first. Cheers for the feedback!.

The lady one sounds pretty good. Reminds me of THE HAUNTING and Poltergiest. But then again,I am a big fan of ghost stories/evil entities/haunted houses and stuff.

-"Crystal Glade" (working title): I did the VERY stupid thing of erasing it...so it went to hold.
-"Superstitions": Ive officially shut this down, I didn't like the idea, it's like FD4 with a twist.
-"Schoolyard" has become a TRILOGY, I'm working on "Schoolyard", "Schoolyard 2: [insert surname here]" and "Schoolyard 3: [insert surname here]"...the three stories go perfectly together and it's PACKED with unexpected twists, Ill post the brainstorm later.
