I want a horror channel already!

They just came out with a video game channel, which I thought was cool but dammit why the hell dont they come out with a 24 hour horror channel. I know alot of people like horror, whats the problem, with all the shitty new channels they add every year this should of been done a long time ago. I dunno maybe there is one somewhere out there but not for my cable, which is time warner who is pretty big so why dont they have it, they should.

Does anyone else notice that USA Network doesent edit much out of their movies anymore?I was watching The Waterboy on USA and it had Henrey Winkler's ass shot and all the language still kept in.Aileien Resurrection was on the day before and it had al of the gore and language still intact.This si great.I love USA now.I wonder if they do that with SCI-FI now?

There's this new chinease channel on my cable, and I was like WTF? You can't understand a word their saying, so what's the point?

A horror channel would be awesome. The sci-fi channel is usually filled up with crappy star trek-like shows, and not enough horror films. Plus, the commercials are pretty damn annoying...!

But on AMC they have horror night every Friday. That's pretty neat-o.

A horror movie channel would be great. I wouldn't even mind paying for it if it meant uncut, uncensored and zero commercials... At least then I would have a reason to have cable.

There's a Mystery channal on the STARZ 12-channals package I ordered (along with the Sports Package of course!:) ) And that's the closest thing to a horror channal. If they are going to make a horror channal, most likely it's going to be on STARZ. Sorry cable guys.

Yeah, I like Fear Friday, but they just don't give it a big enough piece of air time.

You know, since TNN shows Friday the 13th movies from time to time, and Freddy v.s Jason is hitting theaters in a month, why don't they air a Freddy v.s Jason Marathon ?

Alternate between Friday the 13th and Nightmare On Elm Street movies, have a viewer call-in poll for "who will win?", and get Robert Englund and/or Kane Hodder to host. :cool:

Ok. Here's the info:


There is a channel called the Scream Channel. It shows shows like The Night Stalker,Millenium,and other stuff(they used to show Twin Peaks on there). They have Nightmare on Elm Street Marathons and Friday the 13th Marathons. They've also shown Dead-Alive(uncut),Cemetery Man,The Ugly,The Guardian,etc. It's a great horror channel except all those movies I mentioned came on at midnight except for The Guardian. There are towo sections. At 10pm(or 9,I forget)there is Flatline which shows ok horror films and such. At 12am there's Post-Mortem which shows everything you could ever want. That's how I finally got to see Suspiria,The Hills Have Eyes and The Ugly. They're also having the A Nightmare on Friday the 13th mmarathon where they'll show A FT13th film then a Nightmare on Elm Street film after it at 9pm(instead of 12am which they normally did). But wait a minute I'm sure your asking "Why haven't I seen this network?" Well the answer is that it's a Canada-only network. It only airs in Canada and is a Canadian station. There was another station coming out for America called Scream TV but i couldn't find the site. Although it seemed to have more horror news than movies from the schedule.


And yes I am from Canada but I haven't subscribed to Scream TV in a while but the network is very good(except for some of the hosts they're weird).

I first saw DEAD/ALIVE on SCREAM and I couldn't believe how gory it was. They left everything in. And the commercails are limited. Sometimes there is only one short commercail interuption as sort of a intermission. And usually the commercails are for movies that will be on later. I have seen so many horror movies thanks to SCREAM, and all uncut!

yeah, how come americans don't get a horror channel?? sure...we can have channels that show reruns of horrible fucking shows like saved by the bell and family matters...but we can't have a horror movie channel? we can have 3,000 fucking home shopping channels. we can EVEN have a channel that just shows fucking masses at church and burning logs in a fireplace all day. but we can't have a horror channel. we can have 10 Lifetime channels...which by the way...show man bashing movies all day. and yes, they ARE all man bashing. every lifetime movie is about a woman who gets beat by her husband, or a father molests his daughter, or a guy gets caught by his wife in bed with 2 tubs of KY Jelly, egg beaters, and 3 sheep. we all know that. but we can't have a horror channel. this country is going to HELL, ladies and gents.....GIVE US A FUCKING HORROR CHANNEL!!!!!!!!:mad:

Oh man!!!! I am so pissed at the US right now!!! That scream channel looks so awesome. I would saw off my right arm for that channel! Does anyone else have any info on scream tv coming to the US of A???????
