Just saw this one on DVD and I got to say I was a little disappointed. It could have been better. It seems like they ripped off a lot of Texas Chainsaw Massacre. There's a crazy old man and his backwards son in the meat business, killing teens (gee, what movie does that remind you of). On the plus side, the DVD is loaded, with commentary, video footage of "Buddy" going to the whitehouse and Georgetown University to sign autographs, Buddy intruding in movie theaters playing the movie (about an hour total of footage I think), 7 trailers, stills, interview with the director, picture gallery, and if you have a DVD-ROM, comes complete with the actual screenplay, more photos and promotional pictures, a 16-page working budget form for the movie and the original 34-page distribution contract for the movie's release
A few things I noticed and found out....
1. The guy who owns the slaughterhouse has the last name of "Bacon" (intentional? probably)
2. One of the cops' name was Dave Thomas (intentional? Because Dave Thomas of course was the founder of Wendys)
3. And this I looked up: The "Final Girl" is named Lizzy Borden after the famous mass murderess.
