Translation= Betty Fisher And Other Stories
After her son dies from falling out a window, Betty Fisher slides into depression. Her mother, who cant bear to see her like this, kidnaps a local boy who looks a lot like her deceased grandson, thinking this will cheer up her daughter. Of course, this angers Betty but its only when she see's a woman on TV asking for lost son does she realise what her mother has done. The boys mother neglects him and doesn't care about him at all but when Jose (her son) is kidnapped, she employs the services of her gigolo boyfriend and other nasty types to get him back.
The acting is top notch, especially from Nicole Garcia as Betty's mother who comes off as a disturbed woman, thnking that kidnapping is perfectly okay. What I really liked was the unexpected ending which I wont mention here, I urge you all to check it out. Highly recommended! 8/10
