I'm somewhat of a completist when it comes to horror series. I have a list of movies here that I've seen the originals too and want to know if any of the sequels are worth seeing.
Bride of Re - Animator
Children of the Corn 666: Isaac’s Return
Final Destination 2
House 4: Home Deadly Home
The Howling: New Moon Rising
Leprechaun 2
Leprechaun 3
Leprechaun 4: In Space
Leprechaun 5: In the Hood
Phantasm: OblIVion
Return to Salem’s Lot
Silent Night, Deadly Night 2
Silent Night Deadly Night 3: Better Watch Out
Silent Night Deadly Night 4: Initiation -
The Skulls 2
Slumber Party Massacre 3
Vampires: Los Muertos
Warlock 2: Armageddon
Warlock 3: The End of Innocence
Wishmaster 4: The Prophecy Fulfilled
Witchboard 2
Witchboard 3: The Possession
These are sequels that are not available to me right now (ie not available to rent or buy anywhere near me.
The Amityville Curse
The Bird’s 2: Land’s End
Day of the Dead
House 3: The Horror Show
The Omen IV: The Awakening
Phantasm III: Lord of the Dead
Shock Treatment
Sorority House Massacre 2
I know some of these movies have horrible reputations but I want to the schmoes opinions of these. So let me know.

Definitely see Bride of Re-Animator... Nowhere near as good as the first (and I don't fault it for that)... but it's still way fun.
If you liked the first Final Destination and you just want some gore and a stupid plot... See Final Destination 2... It was pure fun.
As for the others... Vomit on them and then forget about them.
EDIT: The above opinion refers ONLY to those movies that you can obtain, NOT to the list that you say you can't get your hands on.

Silent Night Deadly Night 2 is amazing. Seriously, once the flashbacks are done with, it's one of the funniest movies ever.

Phantasm III: Lord of the Dead - not the best in the series, actually its the worst but its still a fun ride, and if you want to understand the whole series you have to see this one.
Phantasm IV: Oblivion - a slower paced sequel, but interesting as hell story wise. We go deeper into who the tall man is and where he came from, his origins if you will. And it has some really cool dream sequuences. If your into Phantasm series, youll love this interesting (though still confusing) chapter in the series. Just dont go expecting another Phantasm II...this ones very different and concentrates more on character development and going deeper into the rabbit hole, wich is why this film appeals to me. (in other words: if you love Phantasm youll dig it!)
Witchboard II - An improved entry in to the series. This film improved in everything that the first one failed, it looks slicker the fx are a bit better, and the characters are likable too. Oh and the main characters a major hottie! But basically its the same story from the first, so dont expect a big difference plot wise.
Bride of Re-animator - Same quirky characters are back! And West is just as Zany and wacky as ever! This time his goal is to create his own creature out seperate body parts, and re-animate it! Cool gory fun that pays homage to Bride of Frankenstein. Pay attention cause theres a lot of references to HP Lovecrafts stories in this one...maybe more so then the first film. Fun times!
Day of the Dead - In my opinion this is the best of the trilogy, I enjoyed it a lot more then its predecessors, because theres a whole lot more zombies and the apocaliptic feeling is very very high on this one! A bunch of survivors are living in an underground shelter trying to live through the horrors that await them on top...gory scenes...make sure you get the unedited version for the full gore effect.
Return to Salems Lot - Ok Im a huge fan of Tobe Hoopers first Salmes Lot wich was probably a factor in my dissapointment with this horrible sequel. This huge piece junk I just couldnt stand. Its horribly made and is booooring. Not worth a watch if you ask me.
In fact its not a worthy sequel to the classic original.
Vampires Los Muertos - I thought Jhon Carpenters Vampires, was a really good vampire film, great villain and cool story, not to mention James Woods and his motley crue of vampire hunters kicking undead ass. Now Vampires Los Muertos, though not incredibly dissapointing didnt live up to the standards that the first one set. Bon Jovi did a good job on this, but the film is just un impressive and sometimes boring, it has a few stand out scenes like that fight in the church, but over all it was a bit of a let down. I had my hopes up for this one too, since it was directed by Tommy Lee Wallace who also directed Fright Night II, but alas it just wasnt all that.
There you go hope that helps. :D

Yeah, there's no reason not to see Final Destination 2 (6/10) if you liked the first one. It's not as good as the original, but the awesome gore shots alone are worth checking it out for.
I dunno about the rest.

Vampires: Los Muertos Is definately not worth the time....although I enjoyed John Carpenter's Vampires very much this one didn't live up to my expectations. However, I agree with spacemonkey. Bon Jovi did a good job in this yet....I wasn't too thrilled with the supporting cast.
Day of the Dead is definately worth seeing! I've got a copy of it and watch it at least once a week. Great movie!
Zombies Rawk!

Take a pass on Return to Salem's Lot. It has nothing to do with either Stephen King or the original t.v. miniseries. Plus it's pretty boring, and the dialogue is stilted and predictable. Catch it on television if you want to see it, but don't waste your money renting or buying.

Thanks to everyone who posted their opinions so far! :) Tonight I rented Vampires: Los Muertos though I didn't get a chance to watch it yet. And I do plan on seeing Final Destination 2 but it's not out yet.
Also I should say that I've seen all the other sequels in these series and these are the only ones left for right now. So can anyone tell me how Howling: New Moon Rising is? I've watch all of the other sequels in that series (with the exception of part 5, which I personally enjoyed, none of them are even remotely decent) and I'd like to finish it off.
Thanks again and keep the opinions coming.

Howling New Moon Rising has gotten terrible reviews and isn't anything write home about. If you enjoyed Leprechaun I don't see why you wouldn't enjoy the second. (I did.) But I avoid 3 and above at all costs.
AVOID SLUMBER PARTY MASSACRE 3 - I have it listed as one of the worst horror films of all time.
I didnt care for warlock 2 but many schmoes liked it. Part 3 didnt get good reviews and I only saw bits and pieces - couldn't get past the absense of Julian Sands.
While Witchboard is excellent, Witchboard 2 was lacking in a big way but managed to be enjoyable at the same time on certain degrees. Watch for pure curiosity.
Which is the Amityville Curse? I have seen dollhouse, 1992,4, 2, and 1.
I loathed day of the dead. I havent seen dawn but heard it's much more inferior. Day bored me to tears and I didnt see any nice action until it was too late to save it for me.

It's the fifth in the series and the plot involves a group of friends buying a house in Amityville and strange goings on.

I've finished watching Vampires: Los Muertos and spacemonkey's opinion in a previous post basically sums up what I think of the movie. Not embarrassing but not noteworthy either.
