Shock Waves-Cool, unique zombie film with an exceptional cast (Brooke Adams, Peter Cushing, John Carradine). Zero bloodshed, but a dreary atmosphere and tight suspense. Check out my SW review over in Horror Reviews.

SNDN-Unremitting sleaze. What starts off as a distressing character study evolves (some would say "degenerates") into a gratuitous slasher. Good stuff.

SNDN2-If you've seen the original, fast-forward to the third act. All you'd be missing out on are tedious flashbacks that are supposed to pass as expository scenes. Ugh. Still, the last act serves up some irresistible cheese.

SNDN3-A decent rental, but that's it. Numb pacing, mundane kills, and a waste of Bill Moseley's talent. But it's entertaining when it wants to be. The leads are sympathetic and the capoff is memorable. Again, it's a rental at best.

SNDN5-Fun and idiotic at the same time. A charged pace, a cool twist ending, and a Clint Howard cameo. I haven't seen the fourth entry.

Forget the first SNDN, just go straight to part 2! That way you don't have to fast forward, you get the good parts of the first one and then you get the superb acting of the actual part 2!

Classic scene is where Jennifer says "oh-oh!" When you see it, you'll know what I'm talking about.

Also.. "GARBAGE DAY!"

:D

I liked the first SNDN until it degraded into the stupid slasher fest second half. It became mediocre because of that.

The second SNDN, I skipped. heard it was really horrid.

The third SNDN, I really enjoyed it because it gave me what I was expecting this time around.

The fourth SNDN, has a good setup and premise, but it fails in the end with some really idiotic moves by the main character.

The fifth SNDN was above average but could have played it more uniquely and intelligently. It offered a pretty cool story, but it failed with the executions at times. But overall, worth a look.

Ive only seen the Mummys Shroud and thought it was terrible, badly acted, filmed, the script was terrible and it was very slow and boring

Do NOT see Oasis... it is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO horrible. Not even so bad its good. It bored me to tears, and made em want to smash my VCR. I kept the video though, it was worth $1 I guess....

Shockwaves is a damn cool movie and is worth a look. SNDN is entertaining, so is it's first and last sequel. Part 3 and 4 are two of the worst movies ive ever seen. Totally worthless, unentertaining boring, stupid fucking retarded in the head shit. I hate them both with a dire hatefilled passion and they are not worth shit. Dont buy or rent them. DONT EVEN LOOK AT THE COVERS. Havent seen the others.

I'm sorry people, but Silent Night, Deadly Night 5 is one of the worst, slowest, boring, stupid, lame ass pointless flicks I"ve never seen . It never even comes close to working on any sort of 'camp' level, which is the only chance the film had of being good. STAY AWAY FROM THIS MOVIE AT ALL COSTS!

I'm a fan of most of the hammer films but Demons of the Mind is TERRIBLE. Talk about a slow moving movie. Both dialogue and acting suck big time. Avoid this one unless you want to waste your money. Spoken by a man who wasted his money on this movie!

The only one I can safely recommend is The Reptile, one of my favorite hammer flicks, think The Gorgon done right. If you got a place in your heart for Hammer, I don't think you'll be frustrated by buying the movie.

I keep hearing good stuff about Shockwaves but I've never seen it. I might have seen The Witches , after checking it on plot and characters it seems familiar but if it's the movie I remember it's a pretty dull one, not good by all means but not bad enough to rant about either. But then again I may be wrong...
