YAY! Christopher Walken, the most kick-ass actor out there. He's so good! His performances in Dead Zone, Deer HUnter and Catch me if you Can were right on the money- he rocks! What do you guys think?

PS: try not to bring the "scary lookin' guy" think up!

I wish he would STOP appearing in so many crappy comedies these days (Country Bears, Kangaroo Jack, Envy, etc.), he deserves better. But a definite YAY from me, he has given SO many great performances to us, underrated this man is.

Anything with Walken is worth watching just because of his prescence in it...
no matter how bad it is.

YAY

Anyone who gives Walken a Nay is an asshole.

YAY to the extreme. Walken is the only great actor from the 70s and 80s who has mastered self-parody, creating a very skilled comic actor. His appearances on SNL are uniformly brilliant.

YAY!

Who could ever vote Nay on Christopher Walken? Christopher Walken and Samuel L. Jackson concentrate 99% of the coolness of this world in their bodies. Period.

Naturally. If this thread was about someone else, like Neil Armstrong, or The Pope, I might understand a few nays. But Walken? It's YAY or Death, as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah, that was "Weapon of Choice" by Fatboy Slim. That's one of my all-time favorite music videos.

And if you watch that video, it's not hard to imagine him playing a very upbeat Willy Wonka, or better yet, a Wonka who sporadically changes moods. Actually, it doesn't really matter what he is, as long as Tim Burton makes Willy Wonka. Ooooo weee that'll be a nice, dark, creepy film.

Who wants to bet that Danny Elfman does the score? ;)

I'm sure not going to be the first to give this guy a nay. Yay for sure. He always delivers a fun, great, and/or memorable performance, and has achieved real acting greatness in The Dead Zone, The Deer Hunter and Catch Me If You Can. And I love the Fatboy Slim video!

I agree with Hannibal21 about all the comedies lately.

Yay. I love Walken. The other day i saw a rerun of Late Night w/ Conan O'Brien. Kevin Pollack was on and he did a hilarious Walken impression. Nobody has done better.

Walken is great in everything that he does. I haven't seen all of his work, but I know from Catch me if you Can, the Deer Hunter, and I must admit that I am a huge Wayne's World fan and he was in the second one.

Chris Walken=the coolest actor...I think so.

Christopher Walken is one of my favorite actors. He's one of the actors that I would go to see any movie he's in. Even if it's a cameo (I'm even thinking about going to see GIGLI). King Of New York, The Deer Hunter, Catch Me If You Can, True Romance, Suicide Kings, The Dead Zone.

The greatest actor alive today...My favorite of all-time...The man is great whether he's being told that he's part eggplant or being held for ransom while being ducktapped to a chair.....The Man Gave Gert B Frode the coolness to make Joe Dirt(e) watchable....C-Walk could play any damn role in the world and make you believe it was written jus for him by sheer talent(the talent to scare? Maybe or it could jus be that he's so damn slick). King of New York? Better fuckin believe it why else would he be allowed so many SNL Hosting positions? Without out C-walk Deer hunter would've starred Robert De niro and who cares who cuz the movie would've bombed....Get me? Im sure you do otherwise you wouldn't have read this far into my testimonial of THE GREATEST DANCER....I mean ACTOR to ever walk the face of the earth.....even tho he prolly wasn't born on it....C-walk gets the big YAY

YAY, of course. This guy can make anything scarier than hell, or funnier than hell. As far as I am concerned, he gave the best supporting performance of all time, for one of the all-time greats The Deer Hunter.

Sorry 'bout that.
