JENNIFER Lopez says she's not a demanding diva.
"All I do, really, is go to work and try to be professional, be on time and be prepared," she said in an interview for and Jen: A Dateline NBC Special to be aired in the US.
"Then you hear all this stuff that people say about you. It can be hurtful," the 32-year-old singer-actress said.
She and her fiance, Ben Affleck, co-star in the new film Gigli which opens on July 30 in the US.
"I think people are always surprised, when I go work on a movie or do something, when I show up and it's just me, my assistant and my driver. And they say, `Well, where is everybody else?' This is it. It's just me."
Lopez and Affleck were interviewed at Affleck's rented home in Vancouver, British Columbia, where he's filming a new movie.
Affleck, 30, said neither overly influences the other when it comes to their careers. "It's not as though I say, `You should do this, that or the other thing.' Or she says, `You should do this, that and the other thing.' Because I think it's dangerous in any relationship if you let too much of the professional life intrude."
