I'm surprised that there hasn't been a topic on him in the Celeb-O-Meter forum. Anyway, he gets a YAY from me. The man knows how to direct movies! I like his cinematography styles as well.

Yay...

I've yet to see a Stone movie I didn't like.

Salvador - 5/5
Platoon - 5/5
Talk Radio - 4/5
Born On The 4th Of July - 4/5
Natural Born Killers - 4/5
U-Turn - 4/5

I've yet to see JFK, Nixon, Heaven & Earth and The Doors.

The guy has talent oozing from every pore.

Natural Borne Killers, Platoon and U-Turn were solid films. But I almost slept while watching Any Given Sunday and when I went to see it again (because it's Oliver Stone and Pacino and all..) I couldn't stand it till the end.

I'm nuetral about him. Respect him but his films are not exactly what I dig.

His style seems to have slipped over the years, as far as I'm concerned. I feel as though he focuses less on the stories and characters of his own movies, and more on what he can do with the camera (Any Given Sunday was almost unwatchable at times. And it was a football movie for the most part, it shouldn't have been difficult to follow).

I used to enjoy most of the films he released, by I don't like what his style has become as of late.

A big YAY. The only two bad movies he's ever made were Platoon and Any Given Sunday, other than that he's a fantastic director.
