This Movie was supposed to be made a long time ago, and all i hear on the website is that they are going to make it. If they are gonna make it, then they need to hurry. It doesn't look like Angus Scrimm will make since he is getting too old. I have no idea what to do!!! Don says that the script written right now is too epic, and might write a different script. This Movie must go on! It will go on! We need to see the end of the tall man. Any news yet?

I haven't heard anything about this since about this time last year. Don't keep your hopes up, but I'm sure there are hundreds of schmoes out there who know alot more about this than I do! That's for sure.

I don't think anyone really knows for sure what's going to happen with this film... last time I heard, Coscarelli was set to shoot, but just lacked the cash to make his film. He was hoping that the publicity that was created around his latest film, Bubba Ho-Tep, would inspire a few producers to lend him the money he needs to finish off his Phantasm series.
BTW -- I wouldn't worry about Angus Scrimm getting old. After all, IMHO the Tall Man looked the best in part 4, when he was old and decrepit looking. :)

According to my movie book, Angus Scrimm is or will be 75 years old this year. Wow, he's one of the oldest actors in horror, next to the late Vincent Price and late Donald Pleasance. Next to the "Phantasm" movies, his only other movies are "The Lost Empire" (`83), "Translyvania Twist" (`89), "Subspecies" (`90), "Mindwarp" (`91), and "Vampirella" (`96), all of which seem to be fantasy/horror-related.

I believe he was also in Don Coscarelli`s early films "Jim The World`s Greatest" and/or "Kenny & Co."
As for "Phantasm`s End", I haven`t heard a damn thing about it in a while. A part of me says it might not ever happen.....but then again I said the same thing about "Freddy vs. Jason" and "Alien vs. Predator".

Yes, but I believe Christopher Lee is indeed the oldest. I believe he is in his 80s (and he is still a damn good actor). :)
I wouldn't worry about Mr. Scrimm. Should Phantasm's End be made, I'm sure he'll be able to make it. :)

Scrimm also appeared in the excellent Legend of the Phantom Rider. And don't forget his opening narration in Wishmaster.

I have all kinds of respect for the Phantasm series. I loved them for their originality and great soundtrack. I really hope this gets made and is more like the original instead of pts 3 & 4

I really want this movie to be a lot better and closer to the first couple Phantasm's. This would be great to close off the series if they'd reveal everything thats still missing from the mythos and finally defeat the Tall Man for the last time. Knowing our luck, he won't die though, cause remember
Its never over, boooooooooooooy

It`s "too epic" for a low budget.

Woah! Really?! I thought he was MUCH older! Seriously! I thought the guy was like in his 80's or 90's. He sure looks it.

Yeah I thought he was older than that too.
Not to be ignorant, but in "Oblivian" he looked like he could keel over at any moment. I mean he looked really old and sorta unhealthy.
