In his day, this man was one of THE symbols of masculinity, charm and manhood. I personally believe that he still holds up today. Just for a bit of useless trivia for you: Mr. Grant was the physical inspiration and was considered to play James Bond before Sean Connery was taken on. What do you think of the man that was formerly Archibald Alec Leach?
"To succeed with the opposite sex, tell her you are impotent; she can't wait to disprove it."

A big YAY from me.

Whenever I think Cary Grant, I think of the 'leading man' type of actors, and that's what he is. He's not only a good looking guy, but in his films he just oozes charm and you can't help but fall in love with him, he's also one of the greatest actors there ever lived. Can be both dramatic and comedic, I especially like his performances in the Hitchock films (Notorious being my fav), and whoever works with him in a movie, they just shine.

Huge YAY!

It's nice to finally see some of the classic actors gettin' some love here...

Hannibal21 pretty much said it all.

One of the most charming and talented movie stars from the golden age of Hollywood. It's a crime that he was only nominated twice and never won for his performances. I suppose he was mostly known for his comedic roles, but nonetheless he could do almost anything and was one of the few nice guys around.

Some of my favorite Grant roles include: Bringing Up Baby (superb movie), His Girl Friday, North By Northwest, An Affair To Remember, Charade, The Awful Truth and Arsenic And Old Lace.

Of course there were many more that I loved but those are among my favorites.

The most impressive thing is the way he became one of the biggest movie stars ever from such humble and difficult beginnings.

A rousing yay for Cary Grant.
