the misfits set up this tour with the project 1950 line up, balzac(japanese punk band promoting their first US release), dickies, agnostic frost, D.I., and the damned(who happen to be playing everywhere but at the show im going to). This looks like a pretty good show. did anyone out there go.

I sure as hell won't be going. Misfits Project 1950 (I don't even know why they use the Misfits' name anmore, it's a different band) is the worst live band I've ever seen .

Plus Agnostic Front is the most outspoken skinhead band in existence and I'm not in the mood to get my head kicked in with some skinhead's boot.

I went to the show yesterday and it kicked ass. It was much better than i thought it would be.

Misfits project 1950- This band has improved alot in their performance since i saw them last year. They played a mix of original misfits, new misfits, black flag, and ramones songs, along with some new ones off their latest release.

Blazac-Performed well but still have not released their us cd yet. I also noticed how the lead singer bowed after every song.

Agnostic front-just ok but there were alot of skin heads going through the crowd.

Dickies- I liked some of their songs but i got tired of them fast.

D.I.- I got there kind of late and only saw the last four seconds of this performance.

Damned- They decided not to play the first show on the tour(those bastards)

I'm going Aug. 23. All of the bands will be there. I'm a bit confused. On the Misfits website, it says that Project 1950 is a side project. But on Amazon.com it says that Project 1950 is the title of a Misfits albulm. Is it a band, or a Misfits albulm title?

its a band. jerry only didnt want to give up the name misfits but knew it couldn't be the same band.

I got the Porject 1950 cd yesterday. Very catchy stuff! It also happens to be very short, only 24 minutes! I haave had "This Magic Moment" stuck in me head all day! Jerry's voice fits all of the songs very well. I recomend it.

i'd love to see the dickies, but...i don't think i'm going. just got project 1950, and though it has its moments, it's kinda a letdown. specter's backups make me wanna cover my ears. and anyone notice that almost 1/2 the songs aren't 50's songs? i'm feeling cheated...
