Will Tomb Raider 2 perform better than Charlie's Angels 2?

I think that it likely will make over 100 million so yes, it will perform better than the other female led action franchise (Which is likely over now).

Hmmm....

Ya know..I really want to see this one, and I have been hearing that it is supposed to be a lot better then the first...so I will go to say that Tomb Raider will do better than people are expecting!!

I can't wait..

(and neither can my boyfriend to see Jolie in her hot silver suit)!!

I think it will perform a little better in the long run, since Charlie's Angels 2 had more competition than Tomb Raider 2 will. However, if Charlie's Angels 2 opened with under 38 Million, there's no way in hell Tomb Raider 2 will open with that much. My prediction is an opening of 35 Million, and I can't see it being any more than that. As for a finish, I see around 110 Million. Which would be about 10 Million more than Charlie's Angels 2 looks to finish with.

Hmm not as many will take another chance on this movie series..i say 30 mill tops and 80-90 total domestic gross

This isn't gonna tank. There have been numerous interviews with everyone involved who think the second one is better, including Angelina Jolie. The advertising push has gotten more aggressive. And contrary to popular belief, the first film had a good multiplier of around 3.5. I think this one will not perform as well, but will come close, which is not what I can say for CHARLIE'S ANGELS: FULL THROTTLE (which really pisses me off, by the way!)

Anyways, I don't think it will open better than CA2. I'm predicting a $27-29M opening but better legs than CA. It should make it to $100M easier with all the hype around the new game and fans wanting to see the new film, too!
