Yes, CRITTERS 3 is a REAL bad movie. But am I the only that disagrees with Arrow about the Critter effects being bad? I thought the Critters looked MUCH better than the ones in the first two. They were bigger, hairer, and look more like they were more lively looking. They also looked scarier to me. But too bad the movie didn't have a scary atmosphere.

I think the only one out of the CRITTERS series I actually enjoyed along with the original was CRITTERS 4. I just wish CRITTERS 4 had the krites attack more. They should have at least had that one in the duct take a bite out of Angela Bassett and Brad Dourif for more tension. That was my main complaint with the film. The joke ending with Charlie messing with the ship's buttons should have been eliminated, too. Besides that, I enjoyed CRITTERS 4. It also had some pretty good actors in it. I also felt some suspense at times, unlike in previous sequels.
Also, perhaps Charlie should have gotten killed by the lab krites after he killed Ug. Just a thought.

JayWolf I feel the same way about "Critters 4" - it was actually alright, but should`ve had more critter stuff and less 'human drama' stuff.

No, actually, all I was saying was that when they did attack, they should have taken more chomps on the characters or at least shot out their needles that drug the people and slow them down.

Ahhh, I see. I agree with you there too. Did they even use their "dart quills" at all in Part 4?

No, which is an absolute shock to me! Also, is it just me, or did some scenes seem cut for time? Like when Charlie explains that the krites usually don't back down from a fight and a meal, then it cuts to Al Bert, Brad Dourif's character, saying how he's getting out of there. It seems like there was more to that scene to me. Also, when Al Bert gives the Colt .45 to Charlie and it cuts to Charlie and you have Al Bert saying, "Charlie, it's all we got!" and with Charlie's facial expression, it looks like some dialgoue had been trimmed beforehand there as well.
Weird how this changed from a topic about CRITTERS 3 effects to a topic about CRITTERS 4. =P

I liked all of the critters movies so far. Though I can see why Critters 3 can be considered to have the better effects. As it is, I liked all of the effects in all of the movies. Though, 4 could have been better.
