I believe this calls for a hearty "wahoo!" My favourite film of the year coming on a very nice looking DVD, and just in time for the old B-day no less. Ahhh, sometimes life is good.

Now here's hoping there's a DTS track thrown in for good measure. For all the quiet moments the film had, the action scenes could certainly display some audio prowess. If not, 5.1 will suffice, but a man can dream can't he.....

I'm with you.

I dare say... I believe it would be ASININE of them not to include a DTS track.

The special features listed are:

Disc One:

-Feature Commentary with Director Ang Lee
-Hulk Cam: Inside the Rage
-Superhero Revealed: The Anatomy of the Hulk
-Deleted Scenes
-Cast and Filmmaker Profiles

Disc Two:

-Hulkification
-Evolution of the Hulk
-The Incredible Ang Lee
-The Dog Fight Scene
-Ang Lee Editing Style
-The Making of Hulk
-DVD-Rom features
-Features available with Subtitles

I am just guessing as to the 2-disc setup from what I can see from the menus. I am also assuming about the Bonus Feature subtitles.

So, unless the two features on Disc One are some kind of branching feature or text feature that you watch with the movie, there are a total of 8 featurettes on the disc. They'll probably be typically effects-oriented features.

I can't tell if there will be any feature on the comic itself, but if there is, it would probably be "Evolution of the Hulk" or "Superhero Revealed: The Anatomy of the Hulk". The "Ang Lee Editing Style" seems interesting, as it is one of the only things I liked about the movie. DELETED SCENES? The movie was actually supposed to be LONGER?? Geez.

Anyway, there's the list, according to the menus, for the people who are too lazy to click on the link.

Sweet, gonna pick this up when it comes out, Im gonna buy this one blind. Erica Bana is a good actor, and I like Jennifer Connolly, the CG hulk looked alright, I hope the movie's story has some decent substance.

Well, the green is a nice change from the standard plain black cases, but I can't say I really like the cover design all that much. But what the fuck, I'm getting a 2-disc DVD of my favourite film of the year, there shouldn't be anything to complain about.

Cool!

I think the comic panel gimmick in the movie would work better in the DVD menus. Anyone agree?

The boxart looks a little strange. It looks like the movie poster but with some minor changes. Why make changes that small? Oh well, I'm still going to get this one as soon as I can.

Wait a minute, is that a Sunny D logo in this shot or am I dreaming? What the hell is that doing there? Am I missing something, as I didn't see the movie yet so forgive me for my ignorance if that's the case.

Ahh, do we now have the first ever DVD Menu product placement?? Or maybe that's some sort of easter egg (were there any Sunny D ads that featured Hulk?!)

I don't think so.

Maybe it is DVD Menu Product Placement, so Universal can make money that they lost from Hulk! I hope it doesn't spread on...

Looks pretty good. I like how they've gone for the comic book approach for the menus and stuff, keeping in theme with the movie, which had all the cool transitions like a comic book..I dunno if I'll buy this, I didn't like it as much as Spider-Man or Daredevil, I'll give it a rent and check out the extras though

Wow, my first post in months. Anyway I really like these screenshots, and can't wait for the release. Most underrated movie of the year so far.
