Hey, I just watched Cherry Falls and I really liked it. I was dissapointed that they cut out most of the good stuff, but it was still a good effort for a teen slasher. One of the better ones.

Anywho, does anyone know if they have released a standalone DVD of CF yet? Im pretty sure I saw it bundled with another movie, but I was wondering if they have the movie as a standalone package, and if they have a directors cut or something like that out. Thanks.

There's been lots of discussion and arguments about this in the Horror boards...

The resounding answer to your question would be "No". I think that's all we are ever going to get. It's sad, too, because the movie had so much potential. I didn't like it as much as you might have, but I would definitely at least rent it again if they were to release a stand-alone, uncut version of this.

DAMN IT! I too have been mad about this. THEY NEED TO RELEASE AN UNCUT VERSION! I read the original script, and the movie could have been really good and violent. I still liked it, and would give it a 7/10 (B-), but I would much rather see it the way it was meant to be seen. I'd love to see them release an uncut version.

If any hollywood big shot that can do anything about this is reading this, then TRY TO DO SOMETHING! ;)

I've only seen it bundled with another movie by the name of Terror Tract starring John Ritter. It was bundled with that movie for $15 at my local Best Buy.

There is a UNRATED version of CHERRY FALLS on DVD.
It was released in Spain, it's coded 2 and PAL and has a English audio track :)

Ahhhh... Terror Tract, another little horror gem. Gotta admit I liked it, the part with the granny killer really freaked me out:eek:

That's a loaded question! Heh heh... I only say that because there's been some argument over whether or not ANYTHING was cut really. Go to the thread I linked to below and take a quick read (there are SPOILERS ) all over that thread. But, maybe you can see why you can't really get a straight answer to that:

Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot to answer the Brazilian DVD question :p . That I don't know. If I come across any information on that, I'll let you know! :D

Yeah, I thought Terror Tract was pretty decent too, and while it would be cool to get both Cherry Falls and Terror Tract on one DVD (gotta love 2 for 1 ;)), but I'd still rather have an UNCUT version of Cherry Falls all by itself instead of the R-Rated version.
