Just announced from Warner Bros is a two-disc special edition reissue of perennial holiday favorite A Christmas Story. Extras have yet to be announced, but the feature itself will come with both remastered anamorphic (1.85:1) and fullscreen transfers and Dolby Digital 2.0 Mono. Cover artwork can be found here. Pick up this great set (in your pink bunny suit) on October 7th for a retail $26.99.


Sweet... i have yet to buy the original Bare Bones Release, and it has paid off!

Yay, finally. I have been waiting for this for a while. The barebones was tempting, but Im glad I waited. Now if only they can release Cant Hardly Wait and Dazed and Confused SE's, I would be happy...

Actually I liked that movie (8/10 or B+ or ***) and wouldn't mind a 2 disk SE.

this is the best christmas movie ever! i'm so glad that i didn't go out and buy the crappy snapper edition. yay for 2 disk sets!
