This is from DVD File:

Mile high club - 12:01am

Call it the Oscar curse. Once "It Girl" Gwenyth Paltrow won a Best Actress honor for Shakespeare in Love in 1999, and already she's being labeled "box office poison." Ouch! Guess the curse continued with last spring's misfire View from the Top, which sat on the shelf for two years and then...no one cared. Not even the presence of Mike Myers could help this one at the box office, but decide for yourself on September 9th when Buena Vista Home Entertainment gives this one the 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen treatment, complete with a Dolby Digital 5.1 surround track and two featurettes, "The Making of View from the Top" and "A History of the Flight Attendant" (no joke), plus a music sampler and the trailer. Retail is $29.95.

I never saw this in theaters (which is because it didn't look good enough for me to actually go see in theaters), but it looks decent and I will rent it for sure... I find it funny how on the cover they have to name two much bigger hits to try and get people to see it. It says on the cover "In the hilarious style of Legally Blonde and Sweet Home Alabama." I guess do whatever ya gotta do to sell it ;).

It's a tad funny how this airline comedy, one that was delayed due to Sept. 11th, is being released on video and DVD Sept. 9th, two days before the 2 year anniversary of Sept. 11th... Just something I noticed ;).

I thought it was alright. I know one of my friends wants to see it, so I'm sure I'll rent it.

it was fun, and the first good comedy of the year. i doubt i'll buy it, though.

I'd rather watch Willard than have to suffer through this shite again....

(That means I'm passing on this one.... ;))

I might check this out. It looks pretty good and I hear this is Stack's last movie.

I've heard that this is actually not a bad movie, but I still don't want to see it very much. If I'm bored sometime, I'll rent it.

Not surprising the Ebert and Roeper gave it 2 thumbs up.

That's weird, on the cover I saw at DVD File it said "In the hilarious style of Legally Blonde and Sweet Home Alabama" on it. Maybe they'll include that on the back or something?!

Maybe they took it off because IT'S NOT TRUE!!! ;)

And why the hell is Rob Lowe on the cover. He is only in the movie for a minute, at the most!

Not only that, but if I were that flight attendant he's manhandling I'd sue him for sexual harassment...

Never! It looks baaaaaaaaaad. The only way I'd see it is if I was paid a hefty some of money, or if I was kidnapped, then gagged and bound to a chair in front of a TV with toothpicks wrenched in between my eyes to keep them open.... ;)

Don't worry. One day she'll watch it. Of course I have made an oath to never watch the Stuart Little films so I can sort of agree with the whole not seeing thing.

It was Adam J. Hakari! I just waved a copy of the latest Air Bud DVD in front of his face and he spilled his guts!
