Legendary Filmmaker John Schlesinger passed way today. Sad news indeed for the world of cinema and me personally.

I have always enjoyed the Directors work and am devastated to here of his demise.

In salute of the talented man and his exceptional Resume, what are everyone's favourites???

Like John Huston, the late, great Schlesinger earned all A's from this fan.

I love Marathon Man. That movie is so intense. I'll never look at a dentist the same way again....

1.) The Falcon and The Snowman -10/10
2.) Midnight Cowboy -9/10
3.) Sunday Bloody Sunday -8/10
4.) Darling -8/10
5.) Marathon Man -7/10

Unfortunately I've still not seen Day of The Locust, shame that after he reached his peak with Falcon, the rest of his films basically all were shite (besides Pacific Heights, which was decent) and that he ended on a serious down note with Eye For An Eye and Next Best Thing... He's still the man who deserved an Oscar for an X rated movie, for that alone he'd go down in the film history books...

I know this is one of his lesser known flicks, and I know I haven't seen most of his most well-respected flicks. But, I'm going against the pack and saying

Cold Comfort Farm
