Sounds to me like a former client/pimp was gonna rat her out so she made up this bullshit story.

Hmmmmm why would a starving artist walk up and down the street in an area known for prostitution and get "mistaken for being a hooker?"

Well when ya wanna make it big as a star ya have ta get ya self out there and she REALLY got herself out there. I just wonder what posessed here to walk the streets of Sunset Boulevard in LA....oh well.
She became a big star in the 80s but lately has assumed the whatever happened to star. Hopefully Quentin Tarantino will re-ignite her popularity w/ the upcoming Kill Bill.
