here's the cover...curious, i remember another cover being posted here, but Amazon.com and davisdvd.com both have this artwork posted as the cover. To be honest, the other artwork i saw earlier looked decent, but I wasn't a big fan of it. I like this one more, even though Crush isn't a main character and seems to get top billing here :p I'm a huge fan of his character. Also the colors and everything look a lot better here i think.

and below is the original cover art from the other thread:

oh and i just found the link, here's the link to the disney website which shows this coverart so it is the official artwork (the cover with crush on it): http://disney.store.go.com/DSSectionPage.process?Section_ID=13740

Does anyone else notice that the Finding Nemo picture they have on the right hand side of the Disney page looks a lot like a box ala Fight Club, Moulin Rouge, Se7en, etc, instead of a Plastic Amaray case? If it does end up as a boxed set i'd be soo happy, i love box sets, they just look fantastic all in all. (it's interesting because for the old cover art they also had a picture of it in a plastic Amaray case with the two dvds inside shown, so perhaps they decided to change to a box set and then decided to change the cover art altogether fro a box set? just speculation of course...)

It might be like Beauty And The Beast. Have the box over the case.

The newer cover art is a little ugly, especially Crush.

I hope not. That box is annoying.

And the cover art should be this:

I love that poster!

I love the poster too and it's a better choice than any of the other ones, but I also like the new Crush cover art as well.

About the box why would it be annoying? The Beauty and the Beast thing is just a slip on to your plastic case, so if you don't want it, you could always dump it out and just have the plastic case. Just another option for those of us who are obsessed with boxed dvds :D

Because the flimsy-ness of it brings back horrible memories of what happened to a few of my crappy snapper case DVD cases.

I made my own cover, I would put it up if my web server wasn't fucking up on me.

I will never smother my custom cover art with quotes. I hate putting blurbs everywhere.

Does anyone out there know for SURE what the aspect ratio for the DVD will be, I've looked the movie aspect ratio on google and have found sites saying 2:35:1 & 1:85:1.....well which one is it.'

This is one dvd I am sooo wanting to add to our collection

On the monsters INC dvd, the FN teaser trailer has the 1:85:1 ratio.

And on Spirited Away, The FN trailer was 2:35:1

please someone put me out of my misery and tell me

cheers

hopefully this will put u out of your misery ;)

http://disneyvideos.disney.go.com/moviefinder/products/3007803.html#details

This is the official dvd website, and it states "1.78:1" Aspect ratio. (scroll down, right hand side) Of course, you can expect that number to be slightly off, and it will most likely actually end up being 1.85:1 like Monsters Inc was. It definitely won't be 2.35:1 though, i can guarantee that...

Also, looking back, I found that Toy Story/Toy Story 2 were 1.77:1, which is pretty much 1.78:1, so as far as I could tell, they film all their movies in this similar aspect ratio, so it'd be doubtful it would be 2.35:1. Hope that helps :D

Thanks for the reply JC, I had seen the official website but never noticed the aspect ratio in the corner there, thanks.

And your right about Pixars previous movies and the aspect ratio's, only "A Bugs Life" used the 2.35:1 ratio....all the others were 1.77:1

thanks for the help
