I saw that Joblo wrote that Gigli was getting some bad reviews, so I went to Rotten Tomatoes and saw that it had a 0% fresh rating- I dont think I've ever seen that before! Not even one good review! Even Justin and Kelly had some positive reviews!

CNN called the movie a "turkey". Apparently there's a love scene in which JLo spreads her legs and tells Ben something like "Time for some turkey. Gobble, gobble."

Now I don't know about you people...but to me that's the unsexiest, most unromantic scene you can tell a dude before he fucks you. Turkey? Gobble gobble? Christ!

This doesn't seem to be celebrity news so I think I'll move this over to Current Movie Talk, if that's OK.

Thanks! Moving now...

Ah yes, the famous Turkey scene. I want whatever drugs the writer was taking when he wrote that, because that is some fucking weird dialogue.

So should we start a little poll/friendly bet game as to how long Gigli goes without receiving a single positive review?

I place my money on forever. Just a gut feeling I suppose.

To be honest I do like J-LO in most of the movies she has been in and Afleck was pretty good in that comet flick with Bruce Willis and in Changing Lanes and not to bad in Pearl Harbor but in watching the trailer for this flick I for some reason get totaly nauseated...he is terribly miscast in this role if the trailers are an accurate portrayal of the film. I bet she is decent in her role but the movie looks plain bad.

This is definitely the kind of discussion that should be taking place in the GIGLI thread here:
