They / Le Peuple des Tenebres / Onlar / Oni / Eles / Wes Craven Presents: They / etc....

Ok here's the thing. I run a fansite for the film and I need input from anyone who has seen the film. Since Buena Vista fucked us over with a barebones disc I have yet to see the deleted scenes in their entirety. If you've seen the film please let me know the following:

The country you saw it in
How you saw it (theater/dvd or vhs/downloaded it)
How it ended (1/2/3)

Here are the endings:

1. Julia survives, goes home, and puts lights all over her apartment.
2. Julia is trapped in another dimension and the creatures get her.
3. Julia is crazy and the entire movie was a figment of her imagination.

If you've seen more than one version of the film I'm particulary interested in what you have to say. Do you remember any scenes that were in one version and not in the other?

USA - viewed on DVD - I have only seen one ending. Julia is trapped in another dimension and the creatures get her. I was not very happy with the movie since they changed it from the original script so much.

I saw the US DVD release of the film. It ended with Julia being pulled into another dimension.

The DVD had an alternate ending of Julia being crazy and imagined all the events that took place.

I liked the original script idea, this movie was just about a complete waste of my money.

I actually loved They, I didn't feel cheated at all and didn't see the reasons why many hate it so much. It was creepy, moody, atospheric and quite gorgeous to the eye (Laura Regan is one beautiful women).

The endings I saw were

She is pulled into the creature's world.

DVD alternate ending- it was all a figment of her imagination.
