So, she didn't have sex with Jude Law? Damn...my weird fantasies have ended. Maybe it happened, though....

Kidman Wins Loose Lips Case

Trashing Nicole Kidman's good name could cost ya.
Taking a cue from her litigious ex, Tom Cruise, Kidman has successfully sued a British newspaper that suggested she got down and dirty with her Cold Mountain costar Jude Law.
On Thursday, a judge ordered the Daily Mail to issue a public apology and pay "substantial" damages to the Oscar-winning thesp.
The libel case in question sprang from a March 6 article that intimated Kidman had tempted Law into an adulterous affair, leading to the breakdown of his marriage with actress and mother of his three children, Sadie Frost.
Furthermore, the tabloid also claimed Kidman was dishonest for repeatedly denying the affair, her attorneys told London's High Court.
"The publication of this article has caused grave damage to the claimant's personal and professional reputation and she has suffered considerable embarrassment and distress," legal counsel Gideon Benaim told Justice Charles Gray.
"Her embarrassment was particularly acute as the allegations coincided with the run-up to the Oscars award ceremony in Los Angeles, in which she had been nominated for an award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her role in The Hours," said Benaim.
Kidman won the award (and, to be honest, the boot-knocking rumors had no visible affect on her victory).
Now, Associated Newspapers editor Paul Dacre and journalist Nicole Lampert have fessed up that the allegations were untrue and without foundation. The duo have also apologized for the distress and embarrassment caused to Kidman and agreed to fork over her legal costs. The exact dollar amount of the damages was not disclosed.
Law allegedly misstepped earlier this year when he accidentally sent a pair of Manolo Blahnik shoes intended for Kidman to his missus instead. Law and Kidman were also spotted several times noshing together (which is not all that unusual for costars).
But tongues were really set wagging when Frost checked herself into a U.K. clinic in January for what the tabloid press claimed was a suicide attempt but what the couple's publicist described as a bout of postpartum depression.
A short time later, Law announced he was leaving his wife but denied any allegations of impropriety with a certain Aussie actress, issuing a statement that said there was no third party involved in his marriage and "to suggest otherwise is malicious, hurtful and libelous."
An incident last month likely dashed any hopes of a reconciliations. Police called to the actors' London home to investigate an alleged domestic disturbance. While cops wouldn't reveal the identity of the parties involved, they later interviewed Law about the incident, but no arrest was made.
Cold Mountain, the Civil War love story based on Charles Frazier's bestseller, hits theaters Christmas Day. We're guessing this is one holiday happening Frost won't be taking part of.
