What's your favorite piece of AMERICAN PIE?

In order of favorite to least favorite:

AMERICAN PIE 2 - 8/10 (A-)
AMERICAN WEDDING - 8/10 (B+)
AMERICAN PIE - 8/10 (B+)

My favorite is the second. It was an excellent sequel that surpassed the original. It was funnier, sweeter, and more fun than the first. Plus, the first doesn't have very good re-watch value, but the second one actually does. I could watch the second one way more times than I ever could the first. The second was just highly entertaining. American Wedding falls right in between. It's definitely better than the first, and almost as good as the second. At the moment, this is a very solid trilogy that proves that not all sequels suck.

Haven't seen Wedding yet but I'll probably be checking it out within the week.

But the first one is the best one easily. The second one was good but it didn't have the heart the first one did. And the first also has that AWESOME Shannon Elizabeth scene.

The first one has really grown on me too. I liked it when I originally saw it but over the last few years it has really grown on me and is now one of my favorite comedies of the last 5 years.


I hope Wedding retains the heart and sweetness the first one had. It looks like it does.

Oh and one other thing,

Eugene Levy rules! Jim's Dad is my favorite character from these movies.

The first movie was really good, despite having a school that's nothing like mine. The sequel disappointed me, but I"ll have my answer on Tuesday when I see the 3rd movie

I still need to see American Wedding of course, but I don't think that it will be the best. I didn't like the first one but loved the second one, so I voted for American Pie 2.

I give the first American Pie 3/10. Why am I giving it such a generous rating, you ask? Well, because of Shannon Elizabeth's topless scene. Without it, it would be a 1, or possibly even a 0. I haven't seen either sequel, and I don't plan on it. Life is just too short.

This is tough, since I liked all three on pretty much the same level. But if I had to choose an order, I'd rank them #2, #1, and then #3. All are solid comedies for me, though.

I largely agree. Though I kinda, sorta, maybe enjoyed the first one a little, the second one sucked cock and I don't anticipate the third to be much better.

American Wedding actually. I only caught bits and pieces of the second, didn't like the first, the third had Eugene Levy and Fred Ward to amuse me, I'd give it a 6/10, the others 5/10.

Actually, the two blonde hotties at the bachelor party in the third are hotter than Shannon Elizabeth from the first and the two girls pretending to be lesbians in the second combined. WOW were they smokin'. The one in the leather with the whip even looked quite a bit like Jaime Pressly, IMO anyway.
