i saw this at suncoast and got curious about it. on the cover, it said something about being similiar 2 friday the 13th. is this true, and is it good.

Evil Laugh predates Scream's self-mockery by about eight years. It's a fun, energetic, no-budget slasher. It's predictable if you've seen...any other horror film, but don't let that deter you. If it's not too expensive (which it isn’t around these parts), I'd pick it up.

I rented this out of curiousity a while ago.

My verdict: don`t bother.
I found it very uninteresting. Yes it predates "Scream" with the self-aware horror guy, but really that`s the only thing notable about it.

I read a very detailed, spoiler rich review of this movie over at 3B Theatre (I think that's what its called). 2 things I will impart that aren't really spoilers are 1. The female lead, who refused to get naked in this movie is now a famous porn star, and 2. They show someone getting nuked by a microwave while the door is wide open (not a supernatural thing, just bad movie making). If these things pique your curiosity, knock yourself out renting or buying it.

I liked it, I found it amusing and Ive seen alot of shitty movies but I actually own this one so if anyone wants a copy they can contact me.:p
