I was a little surprised that there isn't a thread for this guy. Talented actor who will be forever sexy, he'll be looking good when he's 100 I reckon. Great guy in general and terrific actor. 12 Monkeys, Fight Club, Kalifornia, True Romance, Interview With The Vampire, Ocean's Eleven--just some great examples of how good this guy is on screen. A bit of a shame we won't see him in The Smith movie with Nicole Kidman, that was a cool-ass premise but at least we got Troy...

Probably the biggest fucking YAY I can give. This man rocks. He hasn't put in a bad performance yet, and when you look at some of his best and most original characters (Fight Club, 12 Monkey's, Snatch) there's no denying his talent.

There's a lot of hate spewed upon him by the general public because of his great looks, but you shouldn't hold them against him ;), because this guy has proven time and time again he has the acting chops to get him through life.

I can't stress enough how great I think this guy is.

Oh I know, a fantastic film, I just wanted to include the more diverse roles that show he can do the weird and eccentric (12 monkeys etc.) as well as the dramatic (Se7en).

Oh, and Interview with a Vampire was not yet mentioned, so I thought I would add that performance in. Although the film is flawed, and Cruise is pretty damn awful, both Pitt and Dunst turned into great performances. Just another notch in this man's belt of great roles.

great actor, one of my favorite actors...

admittedly i wasn't much of a fan a couple years ago, but after 12 monkeys, ocean's 11, snatch, fight club, se7en, thelma and louise, interview with the vampire, and yes, to an extent, meet joe black, he quickly became one of my favorite actors. the only movie i've seen of his that i disliked a lot was the mexican. AND i can't wait for Troy, or Seared (please let that happen!), and damn i wish mr. and mrs. smith had happened (with kidman in it). that was a dream team...liman+kidman+pitt....ah well...angelina jolie is not bad (quite hot :p), but no replacement for kidman :(

He's one of those actors that I used to hate because he is the typical 'Pretty Boy', especially since I only remember him in that sucky Thelma and Louise, and wasn't impressed with Across the Tracks for any reason.

Then came Twelve Monkeys, and I had to admit that he did good in that one. OK, so it's one movie he was good in. I liked him in True Romance after I saw it, too. OK, so I liked him in two movies. Big deal. I still hated Cool World.
I liked Johnny Suede for some odd reason. I loved Seven, and started to wonder why I didn't like Pitt so much.
Then came Fight Club of course. Great movie (thank you again Fincher) and great performance.

He was the only thing I liked in Snatch, and by then I admitted wholeheartedly that he's a very talented actor who also happens to be a Pretty Boy. Everything he's in he does a good job with it. No problem with that! I take back my not liking him! He rules!!
