Well her heart stopped and we never seen her again so she did die , now who knows what happened when he left the area..maybe she was revived by EMS arriving at the scene or something supernatural happened :)

Don't you guys remember at the end of the movie Matt goes up to his roof and finds her necklace only in brail which is what he said he would like in the earlier rooftop scene between him and her. She's definately alive.

She has to be, after all, you can't plan an Elektra spin off and have it star Bullseye (unfortunately :()

ehp ehp ehp! Dont you think that its possible she left it for him before she died?? I mean he found it later but there was a lot of time between the roof scene and the time he found it...

Of course, her heart could have started up again. its not like he watched her bury her or something.

Yeah but the look on Matt's face suggests that she is alive as well.

All signs point to her being alive still. Not the least of which is that Jennifer Garner has signed on for an Elektra spinoff. That is the final nail on the coffin that she is still alive.

True I mean he knows she's not dead cuz there wasn't a funeral, and im sure he went to the morgue and all that stuff....At least that's what would make sense to me.

She dies in the comic book almost exactly the way as depicted in the film (Bullseye stabs her with her own sai on a moonlit rooftop). In the comics she is reborn through a ceremony conducted by the Hand and spends some time walking the line between villainess and heroine. I'm not sure how they're going to explain her revivescence in the film, but there is definitely precedence for it.

Why not?! Colin Farrel's the man! And didn't anyone stay after the credits (or watch after the credits) Bullseye in the hosbital in a body cast with the fly? Comon, he has to be in another Daredevil somewhere down the road!

As for Elektra dying. Maybe she left it up there BEFORE she died and he never saw it. That's why he was so perked up. That's what I thought the first time I saw it in theaters. Apon viewing the DVD I somehow had a strange feeling SHE IS alive though. Dunno, that sai went through her tummy and came out of the back... sounds painful enough to kill me.

i wanted to buy this movie,now i HAVE to,i didnt know there is a bullseye scene after the credits...is it only on the dvd or is it on vhs too?

nonetheless,i was a tad confused with elektras life status....i thought she was dead but with that brail necklace,that showed me signs of her still being around somewhere,but then again,the rumor has it the hand is in the elektra spinoff,so maybe like the comics she is brought back to life and such....

Yeah, I did too. Till I rented it on DVD and wasn't paying attention. I left the credits running and there's a comical "Bullseye, eh!" while in a body cast...

Guys, I'm almost positive the spinoff Elektra movie is a prequel to Daredevil. Therefore it's no proof that she's alive.

I think the brail necklace thing was done deliberately to leave it open-ended in case they needed to go back to the well and bring her back somehow, but personally I believe she's dead. If she was alive, why would she leave a necklace and no just go back to Matt? I think she left the necklace there before her death.

The rumors goin round that she gets reveived like in the comics, and in the end of dd she is ALIVE, it even shows it on the pal dvd (unsure bout the us ones). Here is the scene from another angle

If anyone's actually been reading the news about this movie, everywhere has said that this movie will be 1. a sequel, and 2. will be based on the storyline above, about the Order of the Hand.
