Well there are also 3 movies opening next Friday... but the lineup is definitely not as good as this week's (Hollow Man, Space Cowboys & Coyote Ugly):
The Replacement, Autumn in New York, & Bless the Child
If you can only choose one to see, which one would it be? From the trailer, Bless the Child seems to be a pretty good film...

I saw THE REPLACEMENTS, so I won't count that one (it's okay, but nothing original), but BLESS THE CHILD looks like a hokey thriller, a CLEAN rip-off of SIXTH SENSE starring Kim "where is my career headed" Basinger", and AUTUMN IN NEW YORK really looks like major crap to me! (Two gorgeous people in LOVE, whoop-de-doo!).
All in all...if I didn't HAVE TO see these flicks this weekend, I would probably skip them all. Looking WAY forward to THE CELL and GODZILLA 2000 though... /ubb/smile.gif

I would go with D., none of the above, I think they all look stupid. Though Ms. Ryder was nude in Autumn I might change my mind, but I think it's pg-13 so I will pass.

Ok...Bless The Child: Looks really cheesy and stupid. I bet it's gonna be like Stigmata and End of Days. The same with Lost Souls.
The Replacements: It looks pretty stoopid. I thought it would be good at first, but It looks like it'll blow hard now.
Autum In NewYork: Sappy Love story. I heard something about Wynona Rider dying in the movie and it looks like it'll be a "tragic ending" and it will have him sitting at her hospital bed and some shit like that. I dunno.

If I *had* only those three choices, I think Bless the Child has the best potential out of the three. The horror/thriller angle seems to be working well this summer.

I would definately, without question, say 'The Replacements'. I, and i think i'm the only one, think this film looks pretty good. A friend of mine saw the premeire and said it was pretty damn funny. I also think this'll take the number 1 spot this week no question about it. As for the other 2; Shouldn't 'Bless the Child' be released straight to video? And is 'Autumn in New York' seriously releasing itself this week? I thought it would release in the AUTUMN!

Well I read it somewhere that the company is not going to let movie critics see "Autumn in New York" until the movie opens to the public... now we know how bad the movie is going to be....

Out of the three movies I would go see The Replacements, it looks like an enjoyable and funny movie. Bless the Child looks stupid, and Autumn in New York looks stupid and boring.

Well I saw The Replacement's, and it was an enjoyable funny movie, it was extreamly perdictable but it was still funny and very watchable. I recommend it for a few good laughs, just don't expect anything new.
