I just watched this movie yesterday and I loved every second of it. But I got some questions (sorry if they're already answered in the t3 thread) :
1. John Connor is killed in future by the same terminator , why did the he order the terminator to kill him ??
2. How come the terminator knew about the "keys in the sun visor" rule ? And why didn't he kill any cops at the cemetary ? Did Kate Brewster altered his program before sending him to the past ?
3. So skynet was responsible for that 'virus' , but how could skynet have created the virus if it wasn't even activated yet ?
4. If the TX hadn't killed Connor's future lieutenants wouldn't the nuclear blasts have killed them eventually , because they would have needed a nuclear shelter like John and Kate to survive ?
But overall , I really enjoyed this movie and pray there will be a T4 someday !

1. The Terminator killed John before he was reprogrammed and sent back in time. Again, it's a different Terminator than the one in Judgment Day. He didn't have to follow John's orders.
2. Who's to say he was looking for the keys? He seemed quite satisfied with a watch. He probably used his sensors to find it. Terminator can't kill humans in T3. They cut the line where he tells John, but Connor still references it in the hangar: "But you can't kill a human being, you said so yourself!" So, yes, Brewster altered his programming.
3. Skynet was active, it just wasn't uploaded into military computers. It still existed enough to upload an extremely harmful virus to the internet.
4. Since Skynet existed in a software form and relied on computers to exist, it's likely that it wouldn't completely destroy Los Angeles -- if so, it'd kill itself. Also, not *everyone* in Los Angeles would die. There'd have been survivors.

The T-X was the one that uploaded the virus with the phone call she made at the beginning, not Skynet.

Really? I thought she was merely dialing into SkyNet ro recieve the pictures, detailed files, etc. on her many upcoming victims.

Well the movie never really tells you where the virus comes from, so everything is basically guessing. I had this conversation with some friends of mine before, and heard some cool theories. I personally think, and most my friends agree, that the T-X connected online and learned the location of Conner’s future lieutenants. Then using her ability to control machines she took over the internet, so technically she was the virus.
Another theory one of my friends has is that the virus was in fact alive, some kind of A.I. created by someone else having nothing to do with Skynet or the military. Skynet never was self-aware and was never really a threat, but this living Virus (the real threat) took over the Skynet computer thus becoming the Skynet we all know.

I thought the Machines started the Virius by themselves. . .

It's never mentioned in the movie. From my perspective I say the TX uploaded the virus, it's guessing, I know. But she probably did it offscreen.

No, I relized something. Loken could not have uploaded the virus because if she did she started the war, if she starts it then how could she exist if she comes from the war? Do I make sense? If she started it how does she exsist?

I noticed a little mistake in the movie.
When the TX gets in the truck and she slams the door shut , she blinks her eyes , isn't that a typically human reaction ? ;)

Terminators must pass as human. Humans blink. Of course SkyNet would program blinking into her.

I got an answer.
simple. SkyNet created the virus.
READ EVERYTHING about SKYNET (http://www.users.zetnet.co.uk/s.billen/skynet.htm)

Most of this stuff is explained in the novelization, and probably in the special edition DVD when it's released.
