I recently bought American Nightmare - pretty good film, and Debbie Rochon puts in a great performance as the psycho killer.
But sometimes I noticed the picture got a little distorted. It seems to happen when there's a lot of colour onscreen - mainly in the scenes in the cafe that are shot from a distance, of the group sitting around. In these scenes there's a lot of colours onscreen, and it appears to become a bit distorted with faint lines warping the character's mouths as they speak and such. Does this happen with everyone's copy - maybe as it was shot on video it can't cope with all the colour and images on screen in those scenes, or something - or do I have a peculiar DVD?
