Matthew Lillard has potential to be a good actor but he makes crappy movies. The best movies he did were Scream and SLC Punk. What do u guys/gals think?

Not only does he star in shitty movies, but he has no discernable talent.

To somewhat loosely quote Brian McKay: his career milestone is playing (in live-action) a stoned cartoon character opposite a hideous CGI dog.

Yay. He's not the best actor, and definitely doesn't choose the best movies...but...I think he's very endearing.

NAY. He chooses shitty material, and gives shitty performances (even in his best film, Scream his performance was awful), I can't stand the guy.

i like him as an actor, i just can't stand some of the movies that he's in. yay

I think he did great in Scream and I don't knwo who else could of played Shaggy in the Scooby Doo Movie he had Shaggy down pat...yay.

While I've hated some of the movies he's been in, I've always enjoyed his performances. He gives off that "buddy" vibe as the sort of dude you'd like to hang out with.

I thought he was amazing in "SLC Punk" a huge favorite of mine that gets a lot of DVD time at my house.

..and he WAS Shaggy. I had my doubts when I first heard the casting news, but his performance was one of the verrrrrry few bright, shining moments in "Scooby Doo"

So a yay, but I pray he gets a better agent and picks better material.
