Check this site out, it has info from the set and what looks like the first pic!!!!

Anyway, the idea behind this site, official or not, is very very good for anyone into the games or movie. It's re-awakened my anticipation for this flick.

I don't know if it's official or not, but it has a decent design but the picture is too blurry to tell if it's anything. The site takes itself way too seriously (i.e. Hints about the blackout, etc.).

They haven't started shooting yet, so there can't be any first pics. They better include Hunk in the movie though

I liked the first one, although it seemed as though things were missing (listening Anderson? I WANT THAT DIRECTOR'S CUT NOW!). This one looks to be turning out to be pretty cool, but only time till tell if it's a keeper. Is there word as to who's doing the score to this one? Is it Manson again (it damn well better be, he did a kickass job on the first one)?

Manson's contributions were bearable, but I hope they fire that untalented ass-picker named Beltrami.

The costume she is wearing is the one she wore in the game Resident Evil Nemisis, where she squared off against the nemisis to escape a zombie infested Raccoon city. Kinda cool to see her in it on the big screen but i would have rather seen her in the light blue army outfit she wore in the first game.


Still kick ass pick. This is looking far better then the first one.

I hope so too. He did a good job with the first two Scream movies, but the third's score really blew. It honestly sounds like a Christmas movie for most of the time... And then he did T3 which also had a pretty much crappy score. Hopefully they'll find someone new.

Nice stuff, this is looking to be alot better then the first, with less emphisis on action(although its still there) and more on suspense.

I just want this movie to live up to the last shot of the first Resident Evil. That was ass-kicking shot of the city they showed at the end and thats what this movie should be!

They have indeed started shooting.

As for Hunk being in the movie: Don't count on it. Anderson rewrote the story so now the zombies take over from escaping the Hive, which basically destroys that cool scene where Hunk's team is decimated by G-Birkin in RE2.

Bleh.

I would tentatively hope that it's the same two composers. I was actually shocked to find the score was actually very decent...if i recall (been a while since i saw it), there were several parts where metal pieces played which were annoying, but i don't think they had anything to do with the actual score - which I actually enjoyed (believe me, when i heard manson was doing it along with a more "classical" composer i thought they had lost their minds, but it's actually very solid imo).


I can't wait for this. The first one was great, one of the more enjoyable popcorn movies that year.

I'm a Huge fan of RE. Both the Video games and the movie. Cant wait for this release.
