I just finished watching a Candyman Movie, I know hardly anything about the series. I was just wondering if anyone knows if this series was ever a box office success or popular with horror fans?

It must be a bad movie if it did worse than Under Siege (or any Segall movie for that matter).

No, it just means that the general movie going public (i.e. those that aren't necissarily existing fans of Segal) aren't rejecting the crap they are being spoonfed. Candyman is an excellent film.

I agree, candyman is an excellent film and is better than the films that were #1,2,3

its a shame excellent horror films like this dont do that well, although it did produce a sequel (farewell to the flesh) that IMHO is nearly on the same level as the first
