I have a question for fans of House of 1000 Corpses

Who was Dr . Satan ? I mean at first i thought it was that old guy with the thing on his back but when i saw that guy with the goggles i thought it was him cuz whenever they showed Dr Satan before they showed thouse two guys he always had something over his head and they only showed his eyes

do you mean the goggle guy who chased the girl around and cauzed the cave-in? I thought he was some minion, and Dr. Satan was the weird looking guy doing operations. But I only watched it once, and now I can't remember, but it would be cooler if he was the goggle guy.

Dr. Satan is not the one chasing the girl at the end. He is the first person she sees when she enters the room in the cave. he is that alien looking guy that was performing the operation on the girls boyfriend.

Really? I think it was fitting that he was the nearly insect-like creature operating on the body. It shows that he is more cerebral and not all about the brawn. If Dr. Satan is the evil genius that he was described to be, it hardly seems likely he would go around chasing somebody through the halls. Instead he would send one of his mutated minions to do the job. But that is just me.

Well, the dude that chases the girl down the halls is Earl the Professor, and the only thing i can come up with is that he was an attempt of one of Dr. Satan's superhuman perfect race thingy he got killed for.

I think Dr. Satan was alll hooked up to the ceiling beacause its his life support. I dont know, but its badass.

You guys are also missing a key point, that Earl aka "goggle guy" was the father of the firefly family. In the flashback where Mother Firefly talks about how he torches tiny (why he's deformed) you can clearly see that he has that whole "goggle" getup on.

Now, they also say that Dr. Satan did experiments to try to create a superhuman race of the handicapped (there's a joke there somewhere, but I'm not gonna touch it), so I just assumed that Earl went insane and became one of his experiments.

Now, it must also be said that to try to make sense out of this movie is like trying to piss into a Mr. Coffee and get Taster's choice, it just aint' gonna happen. I love it, but it's nonsensical.

On his commentary, Rob Zombie notes that Mother Firefly is lying when she relates the flashback. I also assumed that Earl was dear ol' Dad, but he's just one of Dr. Satan's experiments.
