I watched the Fast Times At Ridgemont High DVD and it had one or two unique but cool features that I wish were on more DVD's. The first is The Easter Eggs of Classic quptes there are two sets you click on them and see the scene with the quote, it is pretty cool, especially one of the greatest scenes ever Phoebe Cates ' boobs. The second feature is the Music highlights, in this feature you get most of the songs from the movie listed by name and artist and you click on them to see the scene that it is in.
These are two of the cooler features I have experienced on DVD's, I wish that there would be more DVD's to do something on the soudtrack of the movie, that was really cool, I don't know how long I looked for the song that was used in the movie, by the Cars Living In Stereo.

I don't think anyone has ever done this, but I think a big special effects movie (like LOTR for example) should have a feature on the DVD with just the rough cut. NO special effects, no music, no sound effects....
NOTHING. I'd love to see how they filmed some of those sequences. I think it'd be really cool to see the actors interact with blue/green screens and stuff...

They sort of did that with Highlander Endgame...they included a rough cut with temp music and unfinished special effects. It turned out to be a better movie than the one they released in theaters.

I really like the alternative music score on Alien, all the dialogue is removed and you just get the emotion and tension from the music.

The 'flashframes' easter egg on Hannibal.
What this is is the film shot between the call of cut and the camera being turned off. The flashframes involving Julianne Moore have been edited together and set to an original piece of music called Clarice.
I love this because (aside from being an extra 3 minutes of Julianne Moore) it gives an insight into the mood on the set, with Julianne laughing as she messes takes up and it is good to see even these pieces of film put to a good use.

I like the look at test screenings on the Final Destination. To my knowledge it's not something that has been done on any other DVD.

I liked the Goonies commentary track how they occasionally cut to the them talking because you get to see what the Goonies look like now. The girl who was the hot one, is still hot. I know there are other commentaries where you can see them recording it, but it was cool because some of them haven't acted in years, so it was fun to see them now all together.
