PLOT: April Burns (Holmes) invites her family to Thanksgiving dinner at her teeny apartment on New York's Lower East Side. As they make their way to the city from suburban Pennsylvania, April must endure a comedy of errors - like finding out her oven doesn't work - in order to pull off the big event.

as for business, Hedges must be really really happy. Pieces of April only cost $160,000 to make and was bought for 3.8million by United Artists. It was a Sundance hit, one of the audience favorite's, if not the favorite. It will be screened at the Toronto film festival very soon as well. Up to now, it has 100% fresh rating on rottentomatoes.com. i can't wait.
