The American Heritage Dictionary defines "schmoe"

Now, I don't mean to look a gift horse in the mouth, or be an asshole, so if this doesn't belong here, feel free to take it down. But anyway, I was reading the dictionary as I sometimes do (am I crazy yet?), looking up words I feel I should know what they mean, just in case. So the word schmoe popped in my head, as it now happens to be a daily word for me:D , and this is what it said....

Schmo also Schmoe n. Slang. 1. A stupid person; jerk.

which leads me into my question. It should be noted that I find this humorous, not insulting, because I feel that being called a jerk by somebody like JoBlo as a privelige.:D When (or where) did you decide that the name of the members would be called schmoes? I noticed other forums do this also, with ranks underneath names, and I just kinda wondered where you came up with this...
