I was just wondering what the special features are on the Rock Criterion Collection and if it was worth shelling out the extra bucks for it instead of the regular edition??? Thanks for any help.

[b]When was this DVD released? I noticed there was a DTS and Dolby Digital 5.1 track. That means that it is probably relatively new. If the sound was remixed, that might be enough to make it worth the money (the other version had crap quality sound).

I got this on a recent trip to America and it is well worth buying in my opinion, the film is great and the extras are brilliant, a lot of the extras are like background information which is good because you learn about the movie making process. The sound I'm not sure about, I can't remember if it's DD or DTS, it is however very good for the sound effects (gunfights are brilliant) there was a bit of lip synch error but this may have been to the NTSC-PAL conversion.

Excellent DVD. By far the best picture quality I've seen on an NTSC disc, and includes significantly more in the way of extras than the crappy Buena Vista release. It's definitely worth the money if you ask me.
