Word of warning, I have just recieved the Coens latest & to my shock & horror when I put the disc on I was presented with some shit cartoon called "Troll in central Park"
I have scanned the rest of the disc & the full movie is on there(So it ain't a Coen joke!!!) What the fuck has happened I do not know, all I do know is I am not a happy man.
The disc in question is reg 1 canadian.

I think you're best to just take it back to the shop where you get it from.
Does it say on the disc "The Man Who Wasn't There"?
Coz i mean if it says "Troll In Central Park" written on the dvd then its a simple mix up, but if "The Man Who Wasn't There" is actually written there on your dvd then i'd suggest that you'd take the disc to the nearest Trading Standards to where you live coz this could possibly serious.
For doing so you could recieve some of your money back, maybe all of it and te original film you wanted and they should take it quite seriosuly and check the stock supply of all "the man who wasn't there" dvd's from where ever you bought it.

The packaging & disc itself are correct(No Troll to be found!!!) you would never suspect a thing when placing onto the tray of your player. Also I bought it from Playdvd
who I use regular & have never been a problem before. They are sending me another copy of the film but my fear is that the same will happen again.

Yep! It's kinda like an error on a sports card. Where a football's player # should be one thing but it shows up as another all that equals is big bucks.

Hehe no it won't become collectable

Because basically what has happened the a masses DVD presser would make duplicates of many different films at a time .. all that has happen was somehow one of the dvd disk changed production lines maybe by machine or person accident .. maybe on purpose. And it just got printed wrongly and stuck in the wrong box

It isn't collectable .. take it back .. say look this is faulty copy .. explain .. exchange.. go home and watch film

To tell you the truth it all depends on the DVD itself.

If you purchaced a DVD from WB and the movie on the DVD is from New Line but on top of the disc is said to be from WB......it'll be worth a lot.

But this will never happen.

I don't care if it's worth the price of britain!!! I just want the Coen movie.

p.s. it is an alliance release yet the disc itself is a Fox release.

Same thing happened to me with a Farrely brothers soundtrack. I bought the Something about Mary soundtrack hoping to get a new Jonathan Richman fix. What i got was a cd chock full of Mariachi music. I thought ha this must be a joke so i searched the cd track by track and got only spanish yelling and mariachis strumming. Anyways I took it back and the guy at the store laughed and let me get a new copy.
